Field Sales - Multi-species US & Canada Job Opening in Pullman, Washington - Workplace will be remote
The individual in this position will have strategic input and responsibility for meeting near-term sales goals and will position the organization for profitable long-term growth. This position requires an excellent sales, customer service, and marketing track record. This position also requires an ability to seek and develop new business, as well as an understanding of the veterinary diagnostics marketplace while maintaining long-term key customers.
Responsibilities
Meet sales and growth goals in the territory
Develop trust relationships with public and private customers including major government clients representing USDA & universities
Acquire competitive accounts.
Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements
Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet customer objectives and are in line with VMRD?s mission and values
Ensure correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner
Serve as the line of communication between key customers and internal teams
Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints professionally to maintain trust of the clients
Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships
Prepare regular reports for progress and forecasts to internal stakeholders using key account metrics
Desired Qualifications
Thorough understanding of veterinary diagnostics added values and benefits.
Experience selling into the animal health markets
Proven experience as a Key Account Manager
Experience in sales and providing solutions based on customer needs
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals to include internal and external stakeholders
Excellent organizational skills
Proven problem-solving and negotiation skills
Bachelor's in business management, sales or relevant field
Able to travel up to 75% of the time
