Global Sourcing Manager Job Opening in tulsa, Oklahoma - Global Sourcing Manager This position is responsible for leading and managing Zebco Brands? sourcing activities to meet the Company?s long-term strategies. Position is responsible for ensuring that supplier relationships are maintained, item costs are negotiated to the best possible price, and potential new sources of supply are identified and qualified as needed to support purchases of more than $50 million annually. Education and Experience Requirements: Education: Bachelor?s degree in International Business or a related business field. MBA preferred. Experience: Strong Asia-based sourcing experience with a minimum of 5 years of experience in global sourcing. Experience in consumer products with previous work experience with a U.S. parent company relying on offshore sourced products required. Previous experience in a management role required. Special Job Requirements: ? Extremely high level of ethics and integrity as demonstrated by ability to conduct business in compliance with Company?s values and policies. ? Strong negotiating skills and deal-making experience with relevant general management skills. ? Demonstrated ability to build relationships across the business and with outside resources. ? Mandarin Chinese language abilities a strong plus. ? Ability and willingness to travel both internationally and domestically frequently (travel time estimated at 30%) ? Demonstrated ability to work independently and provide thought leadership. ? Hands-on knowledge of international operations and requirements regarding commercial activities to include the following: customs, transportation, business requirements, import/export regulations and Far East factories. ? A proven track record in project management required. ? Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities. ? Fishing experience or knowledge preferred. ? Working knowledge of current computer and automated business applications including MS software, Excel, Word, Outlook. Working knowledge in Microsoft Great Plains (GP) preferred.
