Reports To: Property Manager
Amount of Travel Required: Up to 75%
POSITION SUMMARY
The Leasing Agent will be responsible for working with the Property Manager and property staff in attaining occupancy goals, the highest possible rental income and the lowest possible project expenses.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
? Present properties and provided amenities in a positive light to prospective tenants
? Act as a landlord for property owners and help them navigate the property market
? Advertise available properties using a variety of media and promoting materials
? Determine the needs, living standards and economic viability of prospect customers
? Confirm rental application data and personal references
? Stay knowledgeable of the property market status
? Provide information on all aspects of properties (expansion, zoning, crime etc)
? Negotiate leasing terms and conditions and close deals
? Ensure proper maintenance and inspect properties periodically
? Conduct new move in and outs
? Complies with: TBG policies and procedures; OSHA policies, procedures, rules, and
regulations; and HIPAA policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
? Position may be required to relocate to other TBG locations either permanently or on a
short term basis due to office needs, on an as needed basis at the discretion of
Management.
? This position may complete other Administrative and Maintenance tasks as assigned by
Management.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
Experience: 1 Year work history as a Leasing Agent 1 year work history as a Property Manager 1 Year Sales experience Section 8 Experience preferred Experience with eviction court preferred
Computer Skills: Strong computer skills required. Property Management Software experience preferred, Proficient in MS Office, Intermediate Excel skills required
Other Requirements:
? Working knowledge of real estate law and leasing practices
? Proven track of successful sales record
? Up to date with property market status
? Excellent communication and negotiation skills
? Persuasive with marketing and sales skills
? Customer service orientation
? Must have a valid driver's license, proof of valid vehicle insurance and
must have annual Motor Vehicle Record Check, as a condition of employment if employee operates any Company owned vehicles or drives their own personal vehicle for Company business purposes.
