Corporate Accountant Job Opening in Warminster, Pennsylvania - Seeking a well-rounded Senior Accountant with 3-7 years of experience, who has a solid foundation in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and the ability to assist with all aspects of the month end close process within a mission driven organization. Responsibilities:
Perform accounting responsibilities related to month-end close, budgeting, financial reporting, as well as other general accounting duties in a high volume environment.
Assist with financial statement preparation, perform balance sheet reconciliations and P&L analysis.
Assist with external auditors, including supervising the audit process, preparing the annual financial statements and staying abreast of changing financial accounting pronouncements and tax laws.
Manage cash, including the control of collections and certain expenditures, to optimize net cash flow.
Perform intercompany reconciliations, expense accruals, and bank reconciliations.
Debit, credit, and total accounts on computer spreadsheets and databases, using specialized accounting software.
Transfer details from separate journals to general ledgers and/or data processing sheets.
Desired Qualifications:
Minimum of 3-5 years accounting experience to include month-end close, G/L analysis, and financial reporting required.
Bachelor?s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required.
Budgeting and/or Cash Flow experience a plus.
Excellent analytical, project management and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
Skilled in time, priority and task management.
Excellent computer skills with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office? (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
