Sales Consultant Job Opening in Elk Grove Village, Illinois - This role will have the following responsibilities on the Sales Team:
- Responsibility for developing and managing a territory
- Responsibility for meeting sales targets
- Responsibility for managing customer accounts
We are looking for a candidate who has:
- Experience in the Laser Machine Industry or the Moldmaking, Tool & Dye, Metal Job Shop, or heavy machining industry
- Technical knowledge about how Laser Machines work for welding, marking, engraving applications
- Technical knowledge about metal welding, engraving, marking
- Sales experience in cultivating and developing a sales territory
- Experience closing deals and "hunting" for customers
- A highly motivated, self-starter who has a go-getter, never-say-die attitude
The ideal candidate would have experience and expertise in all of the above. Other candidates who would be very attractive would be those with technical experience as a service engineer who can transition to sales or an experienced sales representatitve with a prove track record of results who can learn the technical aspects of this industry
