Our client is looking for a Head Nurse to assist the Director of Nursing with the overall management of the Nursing department and direct care staff, providing high levels of service and care to residents in accordance with the NYS DOH regulations for Assisted Living.
This key role is 50% administrative and 50% devoted to resident care and staffing issues. The Head Nurse fills in for the Director of Nursing in his/her absence. Strong leadership and effective communication skills are essential. The ability to handle competing and creative problem solving will be essential for success.

Qualifications include:
RN preferred, LPN considered
Experience in caring for elderly residents and their families
Knowledge of EHP, ELR, EALR, and ALP regulations
Demonstrated ability to lead and direct care staff
