Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical/Surgical Job Opening in Newark, New york - Travel or Local Medical-Surgical Telemetry (Med/Surg Tele) Registered Nurse (RN) Contract Position in Newark, NY:
13 weeks to start (long term potential if desired) on NIGHT shift (7pm-7am).
Pay Package Info:
$40.00 - $45.00 / hour
Non-taxable package available to those who qualify.

Minimum Requirements:
1 year of recent Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) nursing experience
Current BLS/CPR, ACLS and NIHSS Stroke (if applicable)
Available 3 12-hour night shifts (7pm-7am) per week, Every Other Weekend required
Medical-Surgical Telemetry Nurse :
Medical-Surgical Nurses care for adult patients both before and after surgery
Medical-Surgical Telemetry Nurses care for adults admitted to the hospital under a variety of diagnoses including: congestive heart failure, sickle cell anemia, newly diagnosed diabetes, stroke, gastrointestinal bleeding, confusion, and inability to ambulate, etc.
Medical-Surgical Telemetry Nurses perform assessments
Medical-Surgical Telemetry Nurses plan nursing interventions
Medical-Surgical Telemetry Nurses administer medications as ordered
Medical-Surgical Telemetry Nurses communicate with physicians and other healthcare providers about the patients' plan of care, among other responsibilities
