Program Manager for hospital addiction detox and referral un... Job Opening in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania - Provide quality case management to patients and assist them in recovering from addiction and adjusting to life through individual sessions.
§ Make use of data from consultations and experience to organize client rehabilitation and care, as well as ensure effective follow-up.
§ Plan and support patients in coping with emotional, economic, social, and environmental challenges.
§ Supervise, evaluate, and make records of patients progress in line with standard goals illustrated in care and treatment plan (especially continuing care )
§ Perform planning and administration of programs to enhance community health and counseling services, as well as avert abuse of harmful substances.
§ Responsibility of ensuring program(s) are operating appropriately according to implemented policies, government regulations, organizational goals, and best patient practices.
§ Review safety regulations, update required licenses, providing administrative supervision, coordinating patient services, managing personnel, regulating department protocols and implementing confidential record-keeping systems.
§ Hiring, training, and overseeing any non-hospital program staff.
§ Exceptional oral and written communication skills to convey critical information. Program Manager will coordinate a team of physicians, nurses, administrative staff, and other health care professionals, so interpersonal abilities are a must. Being detail-oriented with solid organizational skills is important to effectively multi-task with all job duties.
§ Willingness to participate in community events and give tours of the facilities to potential external customers.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a passionate group of individuals who intend to help heal the addiction issues plaguing PA and OH. Masters degree in healthcare administration, public health, social work, licensed professional counselor or related field. Helpful to have in human resource management, information systems, and business. Essential- Understanding of addiction, recovery, treatment, intervention, family systems, and forming healthy teams across the medical and clinical disciplines. This position will report directly to the owners/operators of LaurelCare.
