Bridal Consultant/Sales Associate Job Opening in Wilmington, Delaware - Claire?s Fashions Inc. is the premier women?s social occasion boutique and bridal salon in Delaware. Claire?s business is primarily engaged in selling of high end women?s fashions, including bridal and bridesmaid gowns, social occasion gowns which include prom and mother-of dresses, cocktail dresses, and a wide variety of fashion accessories.
Work specifically with bridal and bridesmaid customers, providing ?best-in-class? customer service, while helping the customer choose the wedding gown and / or bridesmaid gown(s) that are perfect for their wedding.
Know the bridal and bridesmaid stock thoroughly and be prepared to pull stock that matches the request of the customer.
Make multiple sales to the bridal customer, including bridal accessories such as veils, shoes, and jewelry, as well as suggesting additional garments such as reception dresses, outfits for honeymoon, rehearsal dinner, bachelorette party, etc.
Ensure that the bridal and bridesmaid contracts are filled out correctly, with a picture of the ordered gown(s) attached to the contracts.
Understand how to measure and appropriately size bridal and bridesmaid customers.
Maintain the bridal salon area, keeping it clean and professional looking at all times.
Although much of their time is spent in the bridal salon, when Bridal Consultants are not working with bridal / bridesmaid customers or performing tasks in the bridal salon area, they are expected to be downstairs performing the duties of the Sales Associate.
Steam and prepare new stock and special orders.
Teamwork- Claire's is not a commission based sales team and it is the expectation that everyone work together in a friendly and professional manner. Work with your co-workers to ensure that exceptional customer service is maintained and that all daily tasks in the store are completed. Look for ways to assist your co-workers.
Qualifications:
Must be outgoing, personable, confident, patient, and know how to be a problem solver.
Have a good sense of fashion- Maintain personal appearance as well as style customers.
Must be a team player.
Takes initiative to complete necessary tasks around the store.
Must be available to work weekends and potentially evenings.
Prior retail experience a plus, but not required.
