Safety and Regulatory Specialist Job Opening in Conway, Arkansas - Momar?s Ramco Division, a growing environmental and waste services provider and fluids transportation company serving the oil and gas drilling industry, is seeking an experienced Safety and Regulatory Specialist. This position will be based in Conway, Arkansas and may require frequent travel to Newcomerstown, Ohio. Main responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to, the following:
Conducting safety trainings, including new hire orientations and ongoing trainings for active employees.
Ensuring all employees are aware of safety requirements and prepared to follow safety procedures.
Performing field audits to ensure compliance with company, state, and federal safety policies and regulations.
Executing risk assessments, citing dangerous areas/procedures and recommending corrective procedures.
Processing and auditing job safety analyses.
Maintaining Ramco?s subcontractor program.
Attending customer safety meetings.
Maintaining inventory of safety supplies and equipment.
Responding to and reporting workplace incidents and accidents.
Maintaining hauling, waste, and facilities permits and reporting.
Minimum Qualifications:
Three or more years? past experience working in safety or regulatory role.
Willingness to travel between 25% and 50% of time.
Professional proficiency with Excel.
Valid driver?s license.
Safe driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience working in any of the following fields: oilfield, environmental, or waste services.
Safety management experience with a company.
Safeland trainer credentials or equivalent.
The ideal candidate will be an outgoing and motivated self-starter, who thrives in a fast-paced work environment. Position may require weekend and/or holiday work and the ability to respond to emergency calls as required. Compensation will be commensurate with experience, including a comprehensive benefits package.
