VP of Healthcare Operations Job Opening in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania - Position Overview
The Healthcare Division of JDK Management Company operates six skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities located in Central Pennsylvania. We are seeking a Vice President to oversee operations and provide overarching leadership at all six facilities. The VP of Healthcare Operations will directly supervise individual facility administrators and ensure coordination with other members of the divisional team, including members of the clinical operations and administration teams.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Ensure high quality resident care throughout the division.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures along with federal, state and local regulations.
Ensure financial revenue and expense management goals are achieved.
Ensure facilities? leadership teams are utilizing resources in the most effective and efficient way to positively impact reimbursement, survey outcomes, etc.
Assist facilities in developing market niche strategies to better serve their communities while increasing market share.
Ensure consistent hiring and selection processes and support facilities? employee retention efforts.
Meet regularly with facility leaders and front line employees to invite their feedback and respond to concerns.
Represent the division with external agencies.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor?s degree in healthcare or business administration, or another related discipline
Active NHA license, preferably in PA
Two or more years of multi-site, long-term care/skilled care management experience
Accreditation with ACHCA preferred
Ability to travel on a frequent basis
Strong interpersonal, communications, planning and organizational skills
