Responsibilities include: -conduct classroom lessons 40-50 min each 4-6 classes per day. -Teach grammar, speaking, writing & listening comprehension skills -Accompany students on field trips, activities -Attend school staff meetings -Training & text books provided -Classroom sizes are 10-12 students, -schedules are Monday - Friday hours are from 9-5 or 12-8 day shift. Q: What?s the job like? What am I going to do exactly? A: In short the job is a lot of fun! You will be working for either an after school English academy or at a public school under EPIK teaching elementary to high school aged students. Your supervisor will instruct you on what lessons to give and what homework assignments to give and training will be provided prior to this. The students are fun to work with because they will be curious and interested in you as a foreign teacher and about the English language. Work weeks are 30-40hrs and is fairly laid back. Many of our teachers have enjoyed doing this so much that they have turned this into a full-time career and have lived in Korea for years! Q: What?s to do while I?m in Korea? A: South Korea has much to offer for those looking for adventure and travel. There are scenic walking tours to extravagant shopping malls. Most urban centers will have cultural events to attend and will have a vibrant night life consisting of karaoke bars, late night shopping and restaurants.
