Accounting Supervisor Job Opening in Farmingdale, Maine - Our client, located near Farmingdale, Maine is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to work closely with the Controller and oversee its accounting department.
Responsibilities include Accounts Payable, Receivable, Payroll, General Ledger and Job Costing; developing various financial and month and year end close reports, and maintaining documentation on the company?s accounting policies, systems and procedures.
Must possess outstanding technical accounting, analytical, problem solving, organization, multi-tasking, communication and supervisory skills. Solid understanding of GAAP is required. Experience in the construction industry is a strong plus. Advanced skills in MS Office and accounting software is required. Familiarity with Sage Timberline software is a strong plus. Must be able to deal with difficult, sensitive and confidential issues.
Bachelor?s degree in Accounting or Finance and a minimum of five years of cost or project accounting experience is required.
