Restaurant Shift Manager Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service skills and demonstrate the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team of co-workers
Ability to promote a fun, customer-focused atmosphere in a fast-paced restaurant
Excellent attention to detail and a high level of self-motivation are also key to success in this position
Restaurant Shift Manager Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Supervisory experience in food service industry or restaurant environment preferred but not mandatory
Basic business math and accounting skills, and strong analytical/decision making skills
Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
Additional Restaurant Shift Manager Responsibilities:
Control day-to-day operations
Ensure local health and safety codes, and adhere to food service safety standards
Ensures profitability of the business by operation shifts within established guidelines and requirements for food cost, labor, controllables, utilities and sales growth.
Providing leadership to the restaurant team to consistently meet standards of superior guest service, quality and cleanliness while embracing the Firehouse SubsŪ ?culture? and mission and vision statements.
May assist the GM in coordinating and implementing current operations game plans and company initiatives in a profitable and timely manner.
May participate in interviewing, hiring, training and disciplining employees under the guidance of the GM.
May participate in inventory and ordering.
There is potential for growth into higher level position as well.
