Responsibilities:
We currently have a need for a Cabling Project Coordinator supporting a Global Network Infrastructure environment. The ideal candidate will have five years of relevant work experience in technology coordination. Global Financial Services or Pharmaceutical experience is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities:
Ensure appropriate management of all aspects of the Project, Client, and vendor involvement throughout the life of the project.
Responsible for fulfilling Patching (installation and testing) and MAC requests
Liaison with data connectivity support to receive patching schedules and requests.
Maintain cabling inventory and cabling documentation (server and ports, structured cabling paths, switches and ports)
Liaison w/ circuit vendors in the data centers
Aide vendor with any cabling related issues within the datacenter
Manage suppliers/vendors in new builds upgrades throughout the campus
Provide detailed status reports to Management on a regular basis
Maintain detailed project plan, scope, and associated metrics
Provide guidance and training for Cable technicians.
Make sure appropriate coverage and support within each environment.
Qualifications:
3-5 years? experience Cabling and Circuit Management experience
Knowledge of LAN/WAN networking
Experience in maintaining cable management databases
Very strong verbal and written communications
Strong financial/budgetary management skills are a must
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint and MS Project.
