At Fast Pace Urgent Care, Nurses provide support essential for effective patient care. Nurses at Fast Pace Urgent Care are responsible for providing outstanding service and maintaining a compassionate and welcoming atmosphere.
Fast Pace Urgent Care is currently seeking a Nurse (LPN or RN) to work in our Leitchfield, KY clinic. Clinic hours are Monday -Friday 8a-8p, Saturday 8a-6p, and Sunday 1p-5p.
Responsibilities:
Deliver overall support for Providers and clinic operations.
Observe patients, charting and reporting changes in patients' conditions, such as adverse reactions to medication or treatment, and taking any necessary action.
Instruct patients on collection of any necessary samples and tests
Obtain vital signs and escorting patients to rooms
Give injections, administering prescribed medications as directed by provider and in accordance with nursing standards
Ensure that patient chart entries are made accurately and in a timely matter and forwarding charts as appropriate.
Assist with scheduling of tests and treatments.
Arrange referrals to a specialist and obtaining pre-authorizations when directed to by the Provider.
Prepare exam and treatment rooms for patient intake.
Assist with lab testing and Phlebotomy.
Prepare and maintain supplies and equipment for treatment.
Assist providers in preparing for minor surgeries and physicals.
Requirements:
Active State LPN or RN license
At least 1 year experience in a hospital, primary care or urgent care setting is preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
