Credentialing Specialist Job Opening in Lynchburg, Virginia - Thriveworks Lynchburg is seeking an enthusiastic, positive and individual to join our team! The Credentialing Specialist will be required to complete the credentialing, re-credentialing and privileging processes for providers with contracted insurance companies and other accrediting entities. In addition, they will maintain current data for each provider to ensure timely renewal of credentialing, licensing and certification.

Credentialing Specialist Job Responsibilities:
Review credentialing files and work with healthcare providers and insurance companies to obtain missing, incomplete and expiring items
Establish and maintain long-term working relationships with healthcare providers and insurance companies to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
Maintain consistent contact with healthcare providers and insurance companies to ensure that expectations are clear and requirements are completed in a timely manner
Credentialing Specialist Qualifications:
Exceptional customer service skills
A high level of detail orientation and multi-tasking ability
High School diploma or equivalent. Associate Degree preferred
