Systems Analyst Job Opening in Hampton, Virginia - The Systems Analyst ? Systems Analysis position is responsible for systems implementation and software development projects. This position will work with the business to provide business requirement solutions using development practices. The Systems Analyst will also develop, review and manage requirements, create user stories or use cases, write and execute test cases, and provide support for system stakeholders.
Bachelor?s degree from an accredited college or university within preferred field of study in Computer Science. Equivalent work experience will be considered
At least 5 years of software development life cycle direct experience. (Waterfall, Agile)
At least 5years of Business/Systems Analysis activities. Business Analysis experience can't be fully substituted for Systems Analysis experience.
Strong level of experience with Data Analysis, Data Mapping, SQL
+ Extensive experience with SDLC, requirements management, diagramming or wireframe tools (i.e. Visio,Balsamiq, rational suite, JIRA, TFS, ALM)
+ Experience with XSD/XML, ERD applications
+ Experience with Business Process Flow utilities
+ Requirements Development experience in a CMMI accredited environment
+ Working toward requirement Engineering or Business Analysis certifications (CPRE, CBAP?) (desired)
+ Six Sigma (desired)
+ Change Management
+ Project Management (desired)
Relevant industry experience to include government services, healthcare, insurance preferred.
