The Accounting Specialist makes an impact by providing support to administrative and financial operations to include daily accounts payable transactions. Responsibilities encompass but not limited to:
Accounting Specialist Job Duties:
· Receiving and processing all carrier invoices for payment.
· Submitting all Customer invoices for payment.
· Manage all carrier/customer inquiries daily.
· Responding to all accounting calls, emails and addressing all issues for accounts payable.
· Handle daily mail from USPO including daily postal run to PO Box.
· Monitor payments submissions and ensure processing of loads within thirty days
· Communicating with respective brokers answering questions and/or addressing issues with loads.
This position requires an education equivalent to two years of college or Associate?s degree and/or comparable work experience. Qualified candidates must possess:
· Keen attention to detail.
· Well-developed communication and organization skills.
· Excellent PC skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
· Ability to handle multiple functions and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Able to handle tough phone conversations.
· Critical thinking and problem solving skills.
