Accountant-Staff Job Opening in Columbia, South carolina - Growing established Company is seeking a well organized professional. Candidates MUST have a Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting or Finance and/or 2-3 years of full bookkeeping experience. The candidate must have:
(i) have advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
(ii) ability to work independently and co-ordinate multiple deadlines
(iii) ability to focus on multiple tasks with great attention to detail
(iv) strong written and verbal communication skills
(v) experience with cost accounting (a plus)
Duties and responsibilities will include:
-Employee Benefits Reconciliation- multiple vendors and plan types.
-General ledger reconciliations
-Other miscellaneous accounting duties as assigned
