Accounting Clerk Job Opening in Jonesboro, Arkansas - 5 year accounting experience
General Ledger & Journal Entry knowledge is a plus
Associates degree preferred
Excel & Word Proficient
able to work in a fast paced environment
pays attention to detail
excellent communication skills, especially able to work with truck drivers to ensure timely submission of their paperwork.
knowledge of DOT (Department of Transportation) and IFTA is a Plus.
Duties will include:
Retrieving and Distributing Mail
Data Entry - primarily Accounts Payable
Back Up - Accounts Receivable - Billing
Reconciling Job Tickets to Employee Bonus Sheets
General Filing of AP invoices, AR invoices, Job Tickets, etc.
Data entry of DOT log books - assist with quarterly IFTA reporting
Assist CFO as needed
Run errands as needed.
