Accounts Receivables Clerk Job Opening in Fort Smith, Arkansas - SSW Holding Company, INC . has an immediate opening in our Fort Smith, Arkansas accounting office. You, as the accounts receivable clerk, will report directly to the Accounting Manager. This office is very fast-paced and requires adaptability. This position will directly support our Manufacturing Operations in the USA & Mexico in the following areas:
Accurate and timely processing of payments whether through cash, check, credit card or electronic means
Research any account discrepancies and make adjustments as necessary
Scan checks to bank and make bank deposits
Must be able to plan, organize and prioritize work load to ensure deadlines are met
Assist the remote locations with any payment issues
Proven ability to calculate and post money
Process and sort incoming mail payments
Customer Account set-up and maintenance back-up
Ability to support the accounts payable division
Ability to cross-train in any accounting job, as the need arise
Flexibility to work overtime as needed
The successful incumbent will meet the following requirements:
Have a minimum of 5 years of accounting experience
Excellent use and understanding of computers, internet, email, etc...
High School or Equivalent (GED)
Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy a must
Excellent communication and listening skills
Solid work ethic
Ability to work well in a team work environment
Bilingual (English/Spanish), as this position supports our operations in Mexico.
Preferred skills: 1. Associate's Degree
