Staff Accountant - A/P Job Opening in Rocky Hill, Connecticut - The Rocky Hill office is seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual interested in joining our accounting department. The role will provide a great opportunity to participate in the entire accounting process and expand your accounting knowledge.
Job responsibilities
Payments and verification of vendor payments
Calculation and payment of monthly commissions
Payments of mortgages and rents
Analyzing and reconciling general ledger accounts
Performing month end closing procedures
Making journal entries
Maintaining work papers
Preparation of monthly financial statements
Minimum
3-5 practical work experience
Strong Knowledge of QuickBooks and Excel
Ability to multitask
Strong attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Associate degree, preferably in Accounting
Desired
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
