Revenue Cycle Management Analyst Job Opening in Phoenix, Arizona - The Revenue Cycle Management Analyst is responsible for assisting the Manager of Revenue Cycle Management with the overall coding and contracting audit function for the enterprise. The Analyst will have responsibility for the daily coding of RAI sent to physicians and will facilitate the liaison function from RCM and Physician Education for coding documentation requirements, management and improvement efforts through collaboration with radiologists, hospital staff, and the practice?s billing vendors on behalf of the practice.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct coding audits of physician documentation, vendor coding accuracy and payor reimbursement
Manage ICD-10 adherence and transition
Manage Physician coding education
Oversee PQRS and coding compliance matters, ensure proper reporting and compliance
Supervise billing vendor coding operations
Oversee coding denials, medical necessity issues and coding-related appeals
Identify reimbursement opportunities
Document and enforce payor coding policies and adjudication practices
Assist the Billing Vendors and Managed Care department with coding-related issues
Support the Manager of Revenue Cycle, vendor billing personnel and radiologists with coding matters
Other duties as assigned Qualifications & Education:

Coding certification preferred CPC and/or CCS preferred
5+ years of relevant physician coding experience ? Radiology experience a must
Outstanding leadership, physician relationship, team work and general management skills
Thorough knowledge of ICD-10, E&M, ICD-9, CPT, modifier and payer requirements
Working knowledge of provider billing guidelines, payer reimbursement policies, medical necessity criteria and applicable industry standards
Evidence of the ability to rapidly establish credibility at all levels of an organization, particularly at the front lines with professional and technical personnel
Self-motivated individual with high attention to detail, strong communication skills
Prior experience working with sensitive information and maintaining confidentiality
Proficient in Microsoft office, electronic coding software
