Budget Financial Analyst Job Opening in Bronx, New york - SBH Health System a 400 + bed Acute Care Hospital and Trauma 1 Center in Bronx, New York. SBH Health System is an academic health system affiliated with the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. We also have medical students affiliated with the new CUNY School of Medicine.
SBH Health System seeks a Financial Analyst to work in in our Finance Department. He/She will work with the Budget Department developing current year budgets and monthly analysis of variances within budget. Some responsibilities will also include assistance in developing profit and loss statements for service lines, working with data from various hospital data sources in order to provide analytical reports for department heads and assistance with monthly account analysis. Candidates will also be involved in the preparation of monthly grant vouchers and annual budgets to external entities and monitoring of grant payments.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor?s degree in Accounting/Finance and a minimum of 3-5 years? experience. Healthcare experience is preferred but not required. Candidates must be proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office with strong communication and analytical skills. We offer competitive compensation commensurate with qualifications and experience.
