Production Manager Job Opening in New London, New hampshire - Canary Systems is an electronic hardware and software engineering firm specializing in civil engineering related monitoring and instrumentation applications. Projects include monitoring of earth and concrete dams, bridges, tunnels and buildings. We operate in several markets including construction, mining, geotechnical, industrial and public infrastructure.
The Production Manager will be responsible for managing our production of electronic products and providing sales and ordering assistance to our local and remote staff. We are looking to immediately fill this full-time position in our New London, NH office.
Responsibilities Include:
Managing electronic product production including assembly staff.
Managing contract manufacturing resources including machine shops and board houses.
Managing shipping and receiving of all material.
Working with engineering on production collateral including drawings and procedures.
Working with machine shops on designs and fabrication of electro-mechanical assemblies.
Organizing the inventory and production supplies.
Organizing price list items and pricing from vendors for resale items.
Expertise Required:
Electronic design and assembly
Mechanical design and assembly
Electronic parts identification
Microsoft Windows 10, Word, Excel and Powerpoint
Draftsite or comparable CAD software
Filemaker Pro
Expertise Desired:
Associate Degree in electronics or mechanical engineering
Past/present IPC-A-610 and IPC/WMA-A-620 certification
Experience with electronic test and verification procedures
Additional Requirements:
Minor exposure to cleaning solvents and occasional use of sealants, epoxies and potting materials
