Senior Accountant Job Opening in Kansas City, Missouri - Senior Accountant
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Prepares the monthly financial reporting package
Assists with the quarterly and annual budget reviews
Prepares daily cash reporting and related journal entries
Prepares the monthly general ledger account reconciliations
Accounts for shareholder stock including quarterly dividend calculation
Handles administration of equipment and furniture leases
Prepares quarterly sales and use tax filings
Responds to ad hoc report requests
Participates in special projects as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required
CPA designation required
4-6 years related accounting experience
Service industry experience preferred, public accounting experience a plus
Must have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
