Relief General Manager
Are you a strong team leader who likes to travel? G6 Hospitality is hiring a RELIEF GENERAL MANAGER to join our team and be part of the iconic Motel 6 brand. We?re seeking an individual with an entrepreneurial spirit who can quickly assess their environment and successfully step into new situations to lead people and deliver our brand promise to guests. This individual will travel to properties throughout a designated area to provide strong short-term leadership and oversight at locations where there is a vacancy in the general manager position. The relief general manager will coach the property team toward delivering a great guest experience, demonstrate a Heart for Service and strengthen our brand reputation within the community. He/she will focus on identifying and solving issues at their assigned properties while creating a positive work environment and assist in developing the property team members? skills and help them achieve their goals.
Even if you have not operated a hotel or motel before, if you have a true knack for multi-tasking, being resourceful, maintaining a Heart for Service in any circumstance and growing our business, this could be a role for you.
This is an immediate full-time position.

What You Will Be Doing
Traveling 85-100% of the time to fill in for General Managers in an assigned area where there?s a vacancy.
Quickly building relationships of trust and influence with property-level team members.
Aiding in the establishment and implementation of local community relations activity to build local relations and support needs of the community while demonstrating a positive image for brand.
Providing assistance to general managers in identifying and solving issues at their properties.
Selecting, hiring and developing front-line team members.
Managing the financial performance of the property and the achievement of property sales and profit objectives, including management of the profit and loss statement at the property level, deposits, accounting and excellent service to our guests through warm hospitable interactions, as well as identifying and addressing guest issues.
Managing the standards and procedures of Motel 6/Studio 6 through effective planning, organization, training and decision-making.
Managing the property?s Safety and Security program.
While previous hotel or motel experience will help new hires transition, our outstanding training program ensures we can bring almost anyone up to speed. Having a business acumen, a high desire to serve and the ability to inspire teams is much more important to us than hotel or motel experience.
