Accounting Sr. Analyst Job Opening in Plano, Texas - Responsible for financial support activities as well as resolves issues and inquiries from both internal and external customers. Performs a variety of less complex/routine accounting functions in accordance with standard procedures around accounting for a customer contract, preparing balance sheet reconciliations, and/or managing the customer contract set-up in the ERP system. Supports the contract set-up on a new SAP implementation.
Main Responsibilities: - Performs routine accounting for a non-complex customer contract, including invoicing, revenue recognition, and income statement review and reporting - Reviews and prepares routine journal entries and account reconciliations including supporting documentation to ensure accurate reporting - Perform routine accounting duties for specific customer contracts, including invoicing, revenue recognition, balance sheet recons, and PL review. - Support contract set-up in a new SAP implementation.
Working hours: 8 am - 5 pm - Mon - Fri
Skills:Required Skillset:
3+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and US GAAP relevant to the work area
Solid knowledge of systems and automation tools (including Excel and Access, etc.)
Background in accounting.
SAP or Oracle experience preferred.
