Position : Full-time salaried position. All benefits apply. This position is responsible for overseeing a designated district territory of individual Marketing Advisors, and managing the district in such a way to achieve the sales and profit goals established by the company.
REQUIREMENTS :
INTELLECTUAL REQUIREMENTS: This is a management level position, responsible for the supervision of approx. 7-10 Marketing Advisors, and requires a significant amount of discretion and independent judgment.
College degree preferred.
Management experience preferred.
Food service distribution experience.
Good communication skills.
Good presentation skills.
Good computer skills.
Detail oriented and well organized.
Basic accounting skills.
Mature, strong personality.
Self-confidence.
Ability to make decisions.
Ability to read and write English.
Ability to comprehend verbal and written instructions in English.
Strong work ethic.
Highly motivated, drive to succeed.
Willing to live within sales territory.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: This is a physically active position, with little sedentary time throughout the normal work day. The DSM will travel and work with a Marketing Advisor in their district at least 4 days per week.
Ability to work/ travel in all kinds of Kansas weather throughout the year.
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time.
Ability to grasp items with both hands, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to transport and manage a laptop computer.
