TAX ACCOUNTANT Job Opening in Salt Lake City, Utah - TAX ACCOUNTANT (Murray, Utah)
A Murray CPA firm has an immediate opening for an accountant in our tax and financial accounting department. if you are an individual who is highly motivated and detail oriented, then this may be the position for you. Superior oral and written communications skills are a must.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee and assist with preparing our clients' financial statements and federal and state income tax returns. Prepare supporting detailed work papers. Handle correspondence from federal and state agencies. Prepare tax projections, financial forecasts and respond to the varying needs of our clients. These positions require interaction with our clients and their businesses to maintain a high level of communication and client satisfaction.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
-2-7 years experience in Public Accounting
-CPA or a CPA candidate-High proficiency in business and individual income tax returns and financial statement preparation.
-QuickBooks proficiency is a must.
-Excellent computer skills including Excel, Word, Outlook and cloud computing.
-Ability to research and draw supportable conclusions.
-Ability to supervise staff and lead projects. We also have an immediate opening for a paraprofessional accountant with QuickBooks experience for client data entry, payroll and our back office duties. Please respond by e-mailing your resume, references and salary requirement.
