We're looking for a Sales Executive to join Ticket Monster Sales team. Ticket Monster is a fast growing retail website that sells tickets to sporting, concert, and theater events world-wide. Our mission is to help fans attend all their favorite live events with the highest level of satisfaction and at the best possible value in the industry. As a result of our rapid growth, we are seeking the very best talent to join our team.
Basic Function:
The Sales Executive would be in charge of building and creating new vendor relationships for Ticket Monster through planning, directing, controlling and coordinating these opportunities. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the company?s operations and sales functions and for the development and implementation of strategies to achieve further profitable long-term growth.
Responsibilities :
Lead vendor and product acquisition through proper account management, opening new doors, closing new deals and building Ticket Monster?s brand in key account categories.
Experience working in a consultative manner with customers in supporting the growth of their businesses through marketing, technology or advertising.
Develop strategic operations and sales plans, taking into account current and past relationship activities as well as future opportunities.
Ensure that Ticket Monster?s value proposition is emphasized in the marketplace ensuring that Ticket Monster is always top of mind.
Continuously search for new opportunities
Be responsible for the sales objectives, strategies, and specific implementation steps as well as profit performance.
Maintain and develop strategic relationships; craft innovative and creative strategies which will drive revenues
Utilize and interpret consumer research in order to more precisely target user demographics, profiles, etc. and thereby maximize advertising sales revenue
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will first and foremost be a savvy, fire-in-the-belly Sales Executive with passion and energy for new challenges and/or driving change and the ability to work well in an entrepreneurial environment.
The ideal candidate will be a ?hands-on? executive who is able to grow and develop new ad sales clients and nurture the relationships. S/he will be an astute Sales Executive whose aggressiveness and energy coupled with a strong team-orientation will lead the Company to success in closing deals. This individual will be a spirited idea person and a strategic leader who possesses both the ability to anticipate problems and the creative problem-solving skills with which to resolve them.
S/he will possess superior interpersonal, as well as verbal and written communications skills. S/he will be able to deal effectively with a wide range of personalities and styles. This executive will be willing to put in the hours necessary for accomplishment, and will have the energy, drive and enthusiasm to succeed in this key position. Finally, this individual will demand of himself/herself and others the highest levels of personal and professional integrity.
