About the Role:
Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the Territory Sales Manager will play a vital role in representing PharmaLogic Holdings Corp. for Positron Emission Topography (PET), SPECT and mobile PET services and programs to medical facilities, imaging service providers, and members of the community in SC, TN, VA and WV to increase revenues and market share.
The successful candidate will lead the sales and marketing process for mobile and fixed sites PET Imaging, SPECT, PET and other radio pharmacy products and services. The incumbent will play a critical role in executing the following duties and responsibilities:
70% Sales Leadership
Achieves client-contract objectives at agreed margin targets. Pro-actively manages the sales cycle from prospect identification to close.
Contracts for new mobile or fixed PET units, SPECT and PET; renews, extends and develops new contracts sufficient to utilize assets allocated to assigned region.
Renews, extends and maintains current accounts.
Establishes and develops new business leads through professional contracts within the industry (i.e. vendor sales staff, medical and imaging facilities, radiology groups, existing partners, etc.).
Follows through on qualified leads via telephone, correspondence, and/or personal meetings.
Develops proposals and presentations for the prospective accounts; obtains commitment and follows through to ensure effective transition of responsibility to the appropriate company representative.
Identifies new business development and start-up opportunities and provides follow through from initial contact to completion of documents.
Maintains records of current and prospective contacts: call reports, territory/account profiles, expense reports and other various required records.
Represents the company within the community through public speaking engagements, membership in civic organizations and participation in trade shows, health fairs, and other community activities as appropriate.
Travels approximately 60% of the time.
25% Market Research
Develops extensive knowledge of the radio pharmacy industry, local competition, and policies, procedures and organizations.
Monitors the marketplace or territory on a continuing basis to assess competition, economic changes and other activities that might affect contracting efforts. Reports assessments to the supervisor.
Grows market intelligence, product and customer knowledge with assigned region.
Grows customer loyalty within the installed base by proactively meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
5% Other tasks and projects as assigned.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Bachelor?s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Healthcare or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years? healthcare sales experience, including experience in the radiology or diagnostic imaging sectors.
Valid driver?s license and proof of current insurance.
Demonstrated success managing complex and lengthy sales cycles required.
Strong ability to establish rapport, credibility and influence across a broad spectrum of stakeholder?s mandatory.
Must have exceptional organizational, ability to juggle multiple priorities, excellent time and process management skills, and close attention to detail.
Excellent and persuasive communicator; both verbal and written; strong presentation skills.
