Easter Seals Veterans Services has been supporting all generations of veterans since World War II. We work nationally and locally to break down barriers and connect individuals and organizations with easily accessible solutions that veterans and military families need to access meaningful employment, education and healthcare.
We are currently recruiting a Program Development Manager for our Veterans Count program.
The Program Development Manager will provide ideas, strategies and tactics in creating awareness of the existing Veterans programs as well as providing the same in regards to potential new opportunities to expand the reach of the Veterans Count program across Connecticut.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Managing existing and cultivates additional community relationships that will enhance the program.
-Planning, coordinating and executing events and marketing campaigns while being present with onsite facilitation.
-Assisting in presentations, event and exhibit staffing. Will be "the face" for Veterans Count events, engagements,meetings as required.
Requirements include:
-Significant in-state travel-Military and Veterans Administration knowledge
-Passion for Veterans and military members with ability to explain their knowledge
-Proven working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
-Strong presentation, event planning experience and excellent public speaking skills with ability to address large audiences and people management experience.
-Experience in working with and/or presenting to executives. Professional appearance at all times. -Ability and willingness to work non-typical hours to frequently include evenings and weekends.
