Regional Property Manager Job Opening in Madison, Wisconsin - Job Summary: The Regional Property Manager is responsible for maintaining a portfolio of assigned properties to maximize its financial returns in accordance with the owner?s objectives and to ensure that all residents are provided with a clean, safe and well-maintained community.
Principal Duties:
Oversees the daily operations of a group of properties
Responsible for the financial and business strategies relating to organizational property ownership. Typically oversees other property functions, such as maintenance, asset management, human resources, or marketing
Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Leads and directs the work of others
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
Work one-on-one with both the client/property owner and the resident to ensure close personal service and open lines of communication
Prospecting and facilitating new client development
Client retention
:
Minimum of five years compliance and property management experience
Ability to supervise, teach and motivate staff
Working knowledge of personnel, accounting, leasing, maintenance, marketing and resident retention policies and programs
Good human relations skills and the ability to work well with others
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Bachelor?s Degree or equivalent work experience
Proficiency with PC systems and Microsoft Office software
Ability to display professional behavior and dress as required by Wisconsin Management Company
May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and at least 8 years of experience in the field or in a related area
