Accounting Assistant Job Opening in Hixton, Wisconsin - WP Operations LLC, a leading frac sand mining operation located in Central Wisconsin is expanding and seeking key individuals to join our Accounting team. We have the need for an Accounting Assistant at our Hixton location.
Background should include experience in accounting principles including but not limited to cost accounting, AP, AR, and payroll. Must also have the ability to work independently, be organized, detail oriented, excellent people skills, flexible and adaptable to change in job duties and organizational change and able to take on new tasks and learn new technologies.

Responsibilities include:
Expedite Invoice to customers and monitor accounts receivable
Enter and properly code accounts payable
Process payroll
Balancing of general ledger accounts
Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Excellent understanding of accounting principles and practices
5+ years experience
Construction Industry experience a plus
Excellent computer experience with Microsoft Office

Highly organized with excellent time management skills
Excellent computer and communication skills
Ability to take initiative and problem solve
Ability to learn the Mining Construction industry and industry specific software application
