BlueMark is a promotional products agency. We're looking for an outside sales rep to regroup with old clients and establish + grow new business.
REQUIREMENTS
Personality Skills for a BlueMark Sales Representative:
Must love people - relationships are key
Creative side - the ability to listen to a clients needs and problems and create or visualize something with our team is necessity. Anyone can order from a website or catalog, but our clients come to us for our perspective of product + marketing, design and use ideas.
Detail oriented - Attention to and the need for order is a must. Just a missing note or a wrong color can botch a whole project. You must have the ability to be concise and organized, and recognize errors (ie. in proofing).
Lover of technology - our office is paperless. Phone + laptop, will be your new best friends.
Team player - in order to maximize your goals, our internal team will run interference at times. Your ability to tag-team projects, and effectively communicate statuses and changes is vital.
Self motivated - we are a laid back team. With individual goals and benchmarks, we work autonomously as much as we do a team to make sure those goals are met, accurately + timely. You won't be micromanaged, but instead evaluated on success of those goals.
Pro at prioritizing - Most client projects have a event based deadline.
Appropriate - while we are a forward thinking, fun, creative company, we are also know for our ethics and professionalism.
Resourceful + Proactive - things happen. Being able to recognize possible issues and jump from a problem to a plan rocks our clients world.
Responsibilities for a BlueMark Sales Representative:
Maintaining & updating client data base & systems (remember, no paper)
Meeting with clients + prospects, via phone web or in person
Securing new projects/clients - inline with monthly goals
Evaluating past projects for reorders
Networking events
Presentation + estimate creation
Brainstorming + idea generation
Liaison to client - keeping them current on project status
Tactical Skills - Must have experience with:
App based software - i.e.. Google Apps,Excel, Evernote etc.
3+ years sales experience
2 experience in the promotional or custom apparel world
AI + PS knowledge a strong plus, but not required
