Floral Sales Job Opening in Greer, South carolina - WHOLESALE FLORAL SALES
Carlstedt's LLC, a leading distributor of quality cut flowers and floral accessories, is growing. We are looking for experienced Wholesale Floral Sales Specialist for our Greer, SC location. Our Sales Specialists provide fresh cut flowers to retail florists, event companies and others in the floral industry. Members of our sales team are expected to maintain their current customer base, as they constantly prospect for new business.
You will be part of a diverse support team consisting of delivery drivers, warehouse personnel, office and sales staff. Carlstedt?s is prepared to reward our successful team members generously and to help make this a career, not just a job!
PRIOR WHOLESALE FLORAL INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE IS PREFERRED .
Candidate must have a clean driving record and successfully pass drug screening.

QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Knowledge of floral industry is preferred.
+ Prior Floral Sales experience preferred.
+ Ability to market, sell, close deals, communicate, persuade, negotiate, and problem solve.
+ Strong organizational, time management and follow-up skills.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
+ Basic mathematical skills.
+ Energetic and Proactive in all aspects of the job.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs and ability to learn proprietary POS Software.
+ Availability Monday ? Friday, as well as some Saturdays and Holidays.
RESPONSIBILITES:
- Manage existing customers for daily orders.
- Generate opportunities for new product sales.
- Proactively target new customers through cold calling.
- Follow invoicing, collection and return procedures.
- Attend customer site visits as required.
- Performance of some physical labor may be needed.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Bend and stoop to grasp objects.
- Bend and twist neck and waist, reach above and. below shoulders and squat.
- Bend and lift loads, not to exceed 25 pounds.
- Repetitive use of hands for grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine manipulation.
- Environmental exposure to extreme temperatures (coolers, outdoors, etc.)
