Sales Manager-Columbia, SC Job Opening in Columbia, South carolina - Searching for a dynamic Sales Manager to support operations and our growing team within well-established construction company. This position is based out of Columbia, SC.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Will be responsible for managing, mentoring and developing sales team
Develop, recommend, and measure monthly, quarterly and annual sales plans
Develop and implement tactics to execute the overall business strategy
Provide guidance, coaching, and training to the sales team
Ability to interact with high level executives regarding sales strategy and monthly results
Be entrepreneurial in thinking and approach
Will set objectives, manage, and evaluate the performance of the sales organization
Responsible for bringing in new business
Re-roof ? calling on business/housing developments. Some leads provided by marketing team
Create process improvements within company
Job Requirement:
Bachelor?s degree preferred
10+ years? experience as a sales manager required
3-4 years roofing a plus
Experience growing and developing a sales team
Ability to travel up to 25% of time (mainly day travel)
Polished presentation and interpersonal skills
Leadership skills that include strong verbal and written communication
Understanding of marketing, selling and delivery of services
High energy and positive reinforcement leadership skills
Goal-oriented, organized team player
Self-motivated
Must be able to pass a background check
Compensation:
Strong Base plus commission
