Public Safety Sales Representative Job Opening in Framingham, Massachusetts - Global Technology Systems, Inc. is hiring a Public Safety Sales Representative to join its two-way radio sales team. This will be an inside sales position based in Framingham, MA.
Job Description
This is a ground floor opportunity in a growing public safety/government sales department of an established, technology company. The chosen candidate will be helping to launch a new, innovative technology solution already in use by some large organizations that rely on mobile devices for their operations. This is a perfect opportunity for someone from law enforcement, firefighting, military, etc., who is knowledgeable about two-way radios and has strong sales instincts.
Responsibilities
Leverage your existing relationships with police, firefighting and other government organizations to introduce them to GTS products and services.
Increase sales and demand for GTS products and services within the public safety/government accounts by offering powerful new technology solutions.
Significant experience in and knowledge of two-way radio usage by first responders and other municipal, state, and federal agencies.
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
Requirements
Minimum of 10 years two-way radio experience in public safety or government
Ability to hunt and cultivate new sales opportunities in municipal, state, and federal agencies.
Strong written, and oral communications with attention to detail.
SalesForce experience a plus.
