Sr. Information Systems engineer Job Opening in Baltimore, Maryland - Senior Information Systems Engineer
Responsibilities
Responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of systems infrastructure, Server Operating Systems, and Core applications that support enterprise services.
Develops analytical and computational techniques and methodology for problem solutions.
Performs process and data modeling in support of the planning and analysis efforts using manual and automated tools
Set up cloud based environments
Must be able to apply reverse engineering and reengineering disciplines to develop migration strategic and planning documents.
Provides technical guidance in software engineering techniques and automated support tools.
Must be capable of applying business process improvement practices to modernization projects.
Assists in establishing standards for information systems procedures. Develops and applies organization wide information models for use in designing and building integrated, shared software and DBMS.
Required Skills
A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science or related field. A Master's Degree is preferred.
Must have 10+ in managing the implementation of information engineering projects and experience in systems analysis, design
Experience with most of the following technologies: NGINX , Hadoop Cloudera distribution , JBOSS EAP, Atlassian Datacenter, SenSu enterprise, Tomcat, Trend Micro Deep Security, Sensu Enterprise
