Inside Sales Representative Trainee (Reference irep1708) Job Opening in Madison Heights, Michigan - Behco-MRM is a quad-technology distributor and integrator providing motion control solutions with pneumatic, hydraulic, electro-mechanical, and collaborative robotic techniques.
The Inside Sales Representative Trainee will enter the training program in the Customer Service department in order to learn about products, processes, procedures and customers. The intent of this role will be to train and advance this person into an Inside Sales Representative with responsibility for providing excellent service and growing sales in assigned accounts.
Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to:
Interface with customers via telephone, email, fax and in person
Act in a support role to the Sales Territory Managers, Account Manager, and Product Mgrs.
Keep detailed records of customer interactions and transactions
Learn & use company ERP software to respond to customer inquiries
Communicate and work as part of a team; working toward shared goals
Assist in other departments when necessary
Basic computer skills are required along with Microsoft Office and basic math skills. Also skilled at active listening, able to read and comprehend written and spoken English in work related documents and able to communicate clearly in English via written and spoken communication. Must be out-going, self confident, organized and manage time efficiently.
Associates degree in any field or study required but no industry-specific experience is necessary.
