Lead Software Engineer Job Opening in Hillsboro, Oregon - Mobile Technologies Incorporated is looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join our team. The incumbent will be responsible for leading the overall technical architecture and development of an exciting new product offering. In addition to individually contributing to the platform, the role will involve mentoring less experienced developers, and acting as the internal Dev Ops specialist throughout the pilot and initial rollout of the product.
Responsibilities include:
Development and maintenance of a real-time application and its API and web components.
Work closely with the product owner and other stakeholders to define scope and guide new application features as they are defined.
Lead and provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced development staff.
On-call management of servers, deployment and configuration for a real-time application.
Identify methods to improve infrastructure and performance and while managing costs.
Will be in regular communication and cooperation with application development team.
Required Qualifications:
At least two years experience leading development teams in an Agile Scrum environment.
At least 4 years experience with application development and server management.
2 or more years experience with web application and API design and development
Experience with the design and construction of REST APIs
Experience with relational database design and management
Experience with application performance optimization
