Controller Job Opening in Las Vegas, Nevada - Sandstone Medical Solutions is looking for an experienced Controller to oversee accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions. Healthcare experience and tax preparation experience preferred. Must have strong skills in Excel and excellent accounting abilities.
Duties include but not limited to:
Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results
Analyze financial information and summarize financial status
Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending
Provide technical support advice on management account
Experience in processing payroll
Participate in financial statements and produce budget according to schedule
Business tax returns
Assist with tax audits and tax returns
Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance
Support month end and year end close process
CPA preferred but not required
