Production Scheduler Job Opening in Temple, Texas - Job Summary
The Production Scheduler plans the production lines work schedule using perpetual order information and available inventory quantities on hand. Scheduler plans production start dates by beginning with the date the materials are available for production or by working back from the customers requested order. Coordinates production scheduling with all managers to ensure product will be available for customers by the due date. Orders in all raw materials and full goods as needed. Establishes and maintains a good working relationship with outside agencies for all products that are ordered.
Responsibilities
Monitoring the product inventories on a daily basis.
Orders all raw materials that will be needed for production.
Orders all finished goods as needed.
Make changes on all raw material and finished goods orders as needed.
Update the production schedule as needed.
Maintain monthly records of all production.
Coordinates with Manager on any changes to schedule.
Provide weekly reports on products produced each week.
Work closely with other Department Manager?s on production.
Enter production and receivers as necessary in accounting system.
Work with Inventory Control Clerk on a daily basis to ensure inventories are correct.
Report any product availability issues to the Customer Service Representative.
Adhere to all Temple Bottling Company safety procedures and policies.
