Responsibilities:
Develop data, visualizations, and layers
Manage and maintain the GIS server platforms and infrastructure including maintaining high-availability and performance tuning
Maintain and enhance the GIS data ingest process
Support the GIS mapping functionality in our mobile and web platforms
Requirements:
BS or MS in Computer Science or related technical field
Experience working as a GIS Software Engineer
Knowledge of GIS software development and technologies including GeoServer, ArcServer, and/or Google Maps.
Experience working with Shapefiles, KML, GeoRSS, GeoJSON and other geo-spatial vector and raster data types.
Understanding of MSSQL and GeoDatabases
Experience working in an Agile environment
Excellent communication skills
Must be proactive, have great attention to detail, be organized and a team player
Additional desired skills :
Experience in C# or Java
Experience in database development including stored procedures, DB design, security, and tuning.
Familiarity or experience with AWS
Love of the outdoors and/or hunting experience

Salary: $70,000.00 to $120,000.00 /year
