Divisional Controller, Latin America Job Opening in Secaucus, New jersey - One of the world?s top Professional Services firm's seeks a Divisional Bilingual Controller for their Latin America division
The Divisional Controller will be based in New York and work closely together with firm?s corporate finance team, he/she will be responsible for providing the necessary financial and operational support in the areas of Finance, Tax, Legal, Human Resources and Real Estate Management for the Mexico and Argentina offices.
Key responsibilities will include:
Liaison with centralized accounting function in New York
Accounting responsibilities including booking journal entries and preparing bank reconciliations.
P&L and Balance Sheet review and analysis.
Preparation of the annual budget and monthly including corresponding variance analysis.
Ensure timely and accurate filing of VAT and all required local tax and electronic filings.
Full responsibility for the financial control and implementation of financial policies for all offices
Ad hoc financial analysis as requested
Work with the New York based legal department to assist in handling all the legal matters related to the various legal entities/legal matters.
Providing payroll data to outsourced payroll provider;
Work closely with Human Capital department on all the insurance related matters and retirement estate management
Work with internal tax department and external consultant in the preparation of all tax returns
Tax planning including payroll
Requirements
10+ years in international accounting
Latin America Experience
Bilingual in Spanish
BA in Accounting or Finance
CPA preferred
