Senior Accountant Job Opening in Boulder, Colorado - Are you seeking a senior accountant position in Boulder, CO? This is a direct hire role that has a competitive compensation and benefits package. Responsibilities for the Senior Accountant job include:
Prepare financial statements while ensuring compliance with GAAP standards on a monthly basis for Management
Assist with reconciling AR sub-ledger and presenting suggestions for improvement to Management
Manage the fixed asset process
Analyze and reconcile accounts and prepare accrual and prepaid journal entries
Prepare financial schedules for the Board of Directors
Analyze budget to actual results and prepare monthly variance reports
Export data to Excel and utilize pivot tables and v lookups to manipulate large data sets
Requirements:
A Bachelor?s Degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance
6+ years? accounting experience
Proven ability to streamline and improve accounting processes
Experience with GAAP reporting
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Advanced Excel skills
Experience in medical industry preferred
