See: http: We are seeking an innovative Design Engineer who can learn quickly and handle multiple projects concurrently. This full-time position is responsible for conceptualization, engineering design and specification and evaluation of new product concepts, platforms and technologies. Responsibilities * Define, conceptualize, detail, test, and evaluate innovative concepts for new products and custom applications * Document product designs, BOM, cost analysis, manage tooling quotes, and research new technologies and materials * Maintain a high level of interaction with customers and stay on schedule * Perform other job duties and/or projects to meet business needs * Mentor junior engineers in design and project management tasks Minimum Qualifications * BS in Mechanical Engineering * 3-5 years of experience as a design engineer * Experience with 3-5 different products Required Skills * Proficiency with SolidWorks * Demonstrated history of design innovation * Strong mechanical aptitude * Ability to make concept prototypes, hand sketches, and multiple part prototype assemblies * Strong project management skills and multitasking * Strong verbal and written communication.
