We seek a Controller to manage the Finance & Accounting function of a privately held company. This position will work closely with the stakeholders and management team to achieve the company?s financial goals.
Responsibilities:
Manage the Finance & Accounting team day-to-day
Assure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions including payroll, accounts payables, expense reports, cash flow transactions and taxes
Assure corporate federal and state income tax compliance and timely completion of all corporate income tax returns
Develop an annual budget
Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions
Establish and maintain systems and controls that confirm the integrity of financial processes across the company
Manage the activities of the department for accurate and timely dissemination of financial reports
Analyze data and make appropriate business recommendations to the management team
Establish goals and metrics to provide timely reporting to the management team
Qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree
Prior experience managing an accounting department
5+ years management experience, with increasing responsibility
Prior experience with QuickBooks preferred
Healthcare industry experience preferred
Ability to demonstrate success with implementation and execution of improved processes within a led function
Ability to translate data
